Steel-cut oats may take longer to digest, reducing spikes in [GlycoMode Blood Sugar support](http://www.playersunity.fr/forums/topic/understanding-glyco-mode-blood-sugar-a-comprehensive-overview/) sugar. I am currently interested in the inner workings of the glycemic index. Why are there so many contradictions when it comes to carbohydrates and how they affect the body? My husband was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and searching for the right recipes have been nothing short of frustrating and confusing. Any help would be appreciated. The premise of glycemic index is that foods with higher fiber don’t spike one’s [GlycoMode blood glucose support](http://www.playersunity.fr/forums/topic/understanding-glyco-mode-blood-sugar-a-comprehensive-overview/) sugar as much, and therefore are lower on the glycemic index scale. We don’t recommend oats because most people do get [GlycoMode Blood Sugar support](http://www.playersunity.fr/forums/topic/understanding-glyco-mode-blood-sugar-a-comprehensive-overview/) sugar hikes. Refer to our recommended food list for help with foods to eat. Thank you so immensely! Thank you for explaining so well. I realize I have to make changes.<br>
